Stephen R. Long, PE

Stephen Long has over 45 years of extensive industrial experience including structural and mechanical design, sophisticated manufacturing techniques, root cause analysis and industrial accident investigation. Mr. Long is an expert in rotating electrical machinery, industrial controls and instrumentation, and oilfield equipment design. He earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Texas at Austin in 1976. Mr. Long is a licensed professional engineer in Texas. He is a former Director of Operations for National Oilwell Varco. He is a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Welding Society.   Mr. Long is based in the Houston, Texas metropolitan area.
