Kimberly Smith joined RLF at the beginning of 2025 as a Senior Investigator, bringing over seven years of experience in law enforcement with a focus on traffic enforcement, crash investigations, and collision reconstruction. Mrs. Smith holds an Advanced Peace Officer License through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) and is a licensed Private Investigator in the state of Texas. She earned her BA from Texas State University in 2014 and is certified in Collision Reconstruction through TEEX (Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service). Additionally, she has completed advanced crash investigation training through Northwestern University. Her expertise includes collision analysis, scene documentation, 3D modeling, photogrammetry, and field inspections, along with proficiency in laser scanning techniques and EDR vehicle downloads for passenger vehicles. She is an associate member of the Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (TAARS) and an FAA-certified UAV pilot. Mrs. Smith’s extensive experience as a traffic officer, specializing in Texas Traffic Code enforcement and forensic crash reconstruction, brings a unique depth of knowledge to the RLF team. Her background in investigating complex collisions, analyzing crash dynamics, and interpreting roadway regulations makes her an invaluable asset, and we are excited to welcome her aboard.
