David A. Brown, PE

Dave Brown has over 30 years of vehicle accident investigation and reconstruction experience, including heavy trucks, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, motorboats, and pedestrians. Mr. Brown earned his Mechanical Engineering degree from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1985. He began his engineering career in the aerospace and machine design industries where he gained extensive experience in aircraft and vehicle crash testing, failure analysis, and in the design and development of high-precision machine tools. Mr. Brown is an expert in vehicle collision analysis, 3-D computer animations, physics-based simulations, collision data recovery, drone aerial photography, photogrammetry, video production and analysis. He is ACTAR accredited and a licensed professional engineer in Texas and North Carolina. Mr. Brown served as President and Director of the Texas Association of Accident Reconstruction Specialists (TAARS) from 2014-2018. He is a FAA certified pilot for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and is based in the Dallas - Fort Worth, Texas metropolitan area.
